Ahahahaha, that's some great timing. I was playing 3rd Super Robot Wars Z earlier today, although I wasn't using Zessica. I was using Mix 'cause Big Bangs <3. The game has an alternate story route where Shrade doesn't die and Jin's death was a "Nope, I really did survive" moment, meaning Spada doesn't lose all but two attacks. Doesn't really matter, though, because no matter who you use, you get Shrade's lines and cut-in for those attacks. It's kind of fucked-up. I wish Banpresto actually gave lines and cut-ins to everyone for all of Gepard and Spada's attacks. Malloy, Sazanka, Yunoha, Mix, and Jin don't get that much battle dialogue at all and they don't have ANY cut-ins (although, Z3 doesn't have many in general probably because of time constraints). I don't think Cayenne has much dialogue, either, despite being the default Gepard pilot (you can switch G+S pilots out mid-stage but it defaults to Cayenne and Zessica; Amata's the only one who gets to use Evol).

DeleteThe JP-only PS2 version blows the GBA versions completely out of the water. Kinda sucks nobody ever bothered translating it, considering most of the script is a copypasta from the GBA games. Then again, PS2 hacking is a lot harder than SNES hacking, so people just go for the safe zone. Makes wish those lottery tickets I'd keep getting for my birthday/Easter/Christmas would actually yield some dosh so I could donate that to translators.
